Israeli archaeologists, recently excavating a site in Jerusalem, came across a rare gem... a 2,000 year-old Roman Pool. This find is from the 2nd or 3rd. century, the excavation director told the Associated Press.
The discovery included steps leading to the pool's white mosaic floor and terra-cotta roof tiles stamped "Tenth Legion". It suggests that the site was part of a larger bathing complex for Roman soldiers.
